Getting Rid of Partners

Partners (or members of LLPs) who do not perform or whose behaviours are not good for the business are a liability who will damage the business if not tackled.

A good Partnership or Members Agreement will contain clauses to resolve such issues, but the process needs to be handled correctly, especially as partners and members of LLPs have some employment rights, despite being self employed.

Where there is no Agreement, we can usually negotiate a departure and the team has experience of negotiating retirement agreements for unwilling leavers.
