Emyr advises clients on a range of commercial matters, with a particular specialism in commercial disputes and litigation such as shareholder and partnership disputes as well as contractual matters. In addition, he also regularly advises on both corporate and personal insolvency matters. He was promoted to the partnership in 2011.

Emyr assists his clients both to manage and avoid risks by helping them to assess their potential exposure and seeking to protect/minimise it with the appropriate contracts, policies and procedures, and reviewing and negotiating the contracts into which they enter. Where problems do arise, Emyr manages the resolution of such problems.

Emyr acts for a variety of clients ranging from individuals and sole traders up to limited companies and Plc’s and has been involved in numerous cases dealing with contractual disputes, professional negligence, construction disputes, property litigation, shareholder disputes and unfair prejudice actions brought by minority shareholders.

Emyr currently lives in North Wales and is a fluent Welsh speaker.
