Jane has experience in all areas of employment law. She provides pragmatic and commercial advice to clients in order to assist them in dealing with employment issues.
Jane provides assistance and advice on day to day employment issues such as on contracts and policies as well as the more complicated issues such as job evaluations, issues at director level, whistleblowing, managing sickness absence and bullying and harassment.
Jane has advised clients on options to the resolution of complicated disciplinary issues and guided clients through the difficulties surrounding achieving the outcome required. This has involved dealing with issues of criminal action such as theft from an employer by a member of senior management. Jane has been able to assist not only in the disciplining of such employees but in collaboration with the debt recovery department, the recovery of the money to the company. Jane is a member of the Employment Lawyers Association and is an active speaker at internal and external seminars.
Prior to advising solely on employment law, Jane was involved in a number of sport law cases which saw Jane attend the Football Association of Wales and the Football Association. When Jane is not helping clients deal with their employment issues, she is a keen runner and a member of Tattenhall Runners having completed the London Marathon in 2010.
