Mark studied Classics at Cambridge University and graduated into the City. Mark worked for Chase Manhattan Bank where he ran syndicated lending, agency and trade finance operations before heading north, taking an MBA from Manchester Business School and setting up his own business, providing consultancy and training from the shop floor to the board room in SMEs and large multinationals across a wide range of sectors.
Mark decided in 2001 to career change into law and studied at the College of Law in Chester. He then trained at Betesh Fox (now Ralli) and progressed to Partner in the Corporate Department and Head of Company Commercial and Partnership. Mark set up Ralli’s specialist partnership law team and also chaired the Brand Team and was in charge of trainee solicitor recruitment.
Mark joined Aaron & Partners in 2011 as partner in the Company Commercial team. Mark has experience in all aspects of company law and partnership law. Mark’s clients comprise many solicitors, accountants, doctors, dentists and trading partnerships and LLPs. Mark deals with setting up partnerships and LLPs, retirements, dissolutions, expulsions, conversion to LLP and most other aspects of partnership. Mark has experience of mergers and acquisitions in the professional partnership sector and also deals with companies.
Mark is an experienced and well regarded presenter and regularly speaks on all aspects of commercial and partnership law at both internal and external seminars. Mark has presented at Manchester Business school, the University of Law and at the Lexis Nexis partnership conference.
Mark set up and now chairs the North West branch of the Association of Partnership Practitioners.
Outside work Mark is a qualified rowing coach and umpire, previous Chairman of a local Scout group and enjoys cookery and music.
