Compliance with the Care Standards Act 2000, the Care Home Regulations 2001, the National Minimum Standards and the legislation relating to health and safety.  Staff may also find themselves having to attend as witnesses at inquests.  Breaches can lead to prosecutions brought against both owners and staff which are costly and damaging to reputation.  As always, prevention is better than cure and our Regulatory Team can advise on all aspects of compliance with the applicable legislation.
