About the Role
As a Legal Secretary in the Real Estate team you will need to:
- Provide partners, solicitors and consultants with a high standard of secretarial service in the production and processing of legal documents and correspondence
- Carry out general team administration including photocopying, filing and scanning
- Handle telephone enquiries and direct accordingly
- Manage fee earner diaries
You will need to have previous experience of working in a Legal Secretary role, preferably in a Real Estate department, however Real Estate experience is not essential. You will also need to have good working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
You will be a confident person with excellent communication skills and the ability to work well as a member of a team.
Organisational skills are essential for this role. You will have the ability to manage and prioritise your work; with high levels of accuracy and attention to detail.

The Shrewsbury Real Estate team is lead by Partner Trish Randles and is focused on commercial and agricultural property with a view to developing residential property work for existing clients and high net worth individuals. This role could be suitable for a legal secretary who has worked within a residential property team and has completed CQS training and wishes to expand their skill set to include more commercial and rural business work.
