About the role
We are seeking an experienced environmental solicitor to join our PEER (Planning, Environmental, Energy & Regulatory) team. The role will involve assisting clients on a range of environmental issues including waste management, renewable energy matters and additional environmental investigations.
You will:
- ideally have 5+ years PQE and be an environmental specialist.
- be a confident commercially aware individual with excellent communication skills, and strong academic qualifications.
- be at ease when dealing with clients; ensuring that each client receives an excellent level of service.
- have the ability to manage your workload; handling a number of cases at any one time.
- have an excellent eye for detail and the desire to get things right first time.
- be comfortable handling work autonomously and have the desire and confidence to develop and grow your own sector area of expertise including: generating personal connections internally and externally, looking out for other sector experts, developing up and coming trainees and paralegals to strengthen the environmental sector at the firm.
