FREE INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY SEMINAR A “HOT TOPIC”
18th February, 2013
On Tuesday 26th February at 8.00am in the De Vere St David’s, Ewloe, over 50 delegates will gather to listen to Aaron & Partners LLP present a free seminar on the vital subject of Intellectual Property (IP). Adam Kerr, head of IP at Aaron & Partners, will be presenting alongside the Intellectual Property Office (IPO).
Adam Kerr says, “IP is something that every business owns but many do not use to its full potential. This free seminar will allow the delegates to better understand and identify the IP already within their business and learn how best to protect it.
“We are especially excited to be presenting this seminar with the IPO and it’s a rare opportunity for delegates to be able to listen to them speak in the Chester area. Listening to our experts talk on the subject of IP will allow delegates to leave the seminar with plenty of practical tips and ideas on how to make the most of something that they already have but may not know about yet.”
Adam’s IP practice covers contentious and non-contentious work and he has represented clients (including some of the North West’s leading brands) in respect to the commercialisation of their IP portfolios. He has dealt with all manner of IP infringement cases including trade mark, patent, copyright, design right and confidential information.
The Intellectual Property Office (IPO), an Executive Agency of the Department for Business Innovation and Skills, is responsible for implementing the national framework governing IP rights and for promoting the UK’s interests in the development of the international Intellectual Property Rights system.
