31st October, 2014
Professional Practices and Employment Partner Paul Bennett has been appointed to the Law Society’s Small Firms Committee.
Paul Bennett was appointed to the committee following his work with the Law Society’s Small Firms Division Steering Committee. This work has led the transformation of the Law Society’s structure into new divisions and committees, with the revised structure aiming to support solicitors and law firms more effectively.
Paul’s contributions have centered on strategy, governance and a regular column in its e-newsletter, as well as speaking at the division’s first Annual Conference and the Law Society’s Management Section Annual Conference 2014.
Paul said: “Being appointed to the Small Firms Committee is a real privilege. It’s an opportunity to engage with our leading professional body and to enable smaller firms to thrive, as well as being an excellent profile building opportunity for Aaron & Partners.
“When writing the columns for the Small Firms Division, and particularly at the conferences, my focus was on firms complying with complex professional regulatory requirements, managing risk, seizing opportunities to stand out and law firms positioning themselves on the basis of expertise. These have been really rewarding opportunities and I’m thrilled to be continuing this work for the next three years.”
