Biography
Neil advises on all aspects of family law but has particular expertise in cases concerning the financial issues which arise on separation or divorce. He has a great deal of experience of matters, which involve complex business assets, inherited wealth and “hidden” monies.
Having been divorced himself, Neil understands the stresses and strains which relationship breakdown often brings to his clients and their families. Neil is renowned for his robust and strategic approach which enables his clients to move forward in their new lives sooner rather than later often without a Court appearance. He is as adept at negotiating financial settlements as he is conducting complex, often multi-party, litigation where required.
Neil’s clients benefit from his having worked with (and, on occasions, on the other side from) many of the country’s leading family law barristers. His close links with the bar and the best-known expert witnesses can provide a valuable edge to his clients in complex and high value cases.
Neil also has a good deal of experience of negotiating Pre and Post Nuptial Settlements, often where there are substantial assets and cross-generational family arrangements.
Though based in Shrewsbury, Neil draws his clients from across the country as well as overseas. His working from Shropshire means his fees compare favourably with other expert family lawyers of his experience.
