Biography

Brent is an experienced Commercial Property Partner within our Real Estate team. 

Background and Expertise

Brent qualified in 1987, having graduated from the University of Sheffield in1984 and College of Law, Chester, in 1985. Brent has spent the majority of his legal career working at firms within North Wales and the Chester area and joined Aaron & Partners in 2022 as a Partner. 

Specialisms and Personal Achievements

With specialisms in acquisition, disposal, and funding of commercial and agricultural property, Brent’s expertise has been recognised by the Legal 500, and he was named as a ‘Recommended Lawyer’ in the 2024 rankings. Brent also advises on matters concerning issues that arise from the thoroughbred breeding and racing industry, and he is noted as ‘Highly experienced’ by his clients. 

Brent's clientele spans SMEs, PLCs, public sector entities, private clients, charities, and universities, with high value transactions.  

As a pragmatic and highly experienced Partner, Brent is committed to keeping clients informed throughout the legal process. He is known for delivering on promises and ensuring that client expectations are not only met but exceeded. 

Outside of his work, Brent is passionate about thoroughbred breeding and racing, having bred runners in prestigious events like the 1000 Guineas and Royal Ascot. He is also a member of the Chester Racecourse committee, furthering his affection for the equine industry. Brent officiated the Wimbledon tennis men’s finals in both 1987 and 1990 as a linesman, providing accurate decisions.
