We’ve continued to invest in our growing Altrincham office with the appointment of two new team members, further strengthening our presence in Greater Manchester.
Barry Riley has joined us as a Corporate & Commercial Partner, while Thomas Fleming-Cooney has been appointed as an Associate Solicitor in our Restructuring & Insolvency team.
These appointments reflect our ongoing commitment to expanding our capabilities in the region, as demand for our services continues to grow.
Barry brings nearly 15 years’ experience advising businesses of all sizes on a wide range of transactional matters.
His expertise includes mergers and acquisitions, disposals, equity investments and shareholder reorganisations, enhancing the support we can offer to clients navigating complex business decisions.

Thomas qualified as a solicitor in 2018 and joins us following seven years at top-tier international law firms.
He advises on both corporate and personal insolvency, with particular experience in financial services-regulated insolvency, restructurings, business sales and asset recovery, further strengthening the depth of expertise within our team.
