The opportunity

As a newly qualified Dispute Resolution Solicitor with up to 2 years’ PQE, you will work directly alongside our dispute resolution partners from day one, advising on complex and high-value commercial and property disputes for a sophisticated client base typically associated with national firms.

This is a role for someone who wants early responsibility, meaningful client exposure, and high-quality work, without the unsustainable pressures often found elsewhere.

You will play a key role in supporting the team while also developing and managing your own caseload, with the guidance and access to senior members of the team needed to accelerate your progression.

What you will be doing

You will be involved in a broad range of commercial dispute resolution matters, including:

  • Contractual disputes
  • Shareholder disputes
  • Professional negligence claims
  • Debt recovery
  • Property litigation

You will:

  • Manage your own caseload under supervision
  • Support senior solicitors and partners on complex and high-value matters
  • Build strong working relationships with clients, colleagues and external providers
  • Develop your knowledge across commercial and property litigation
  • Contribute to business development, including networking and content creation

About you

We are looking for a motivated and commercially minded solicitor who is keen to specialise in dispute resolution.

You will:

  • Be newly qualified up to 2 years’ PQE
  • Ideally have experience in commercial dispute resolution (or at least one litigation seat during training)
  • Be confident and personable, with strong communication skills
  • Demonstrate a client-focused approach and a commitment to high standards
  • Be able to manage your workload effectively and work to deadlines
  • Have strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to your work
  • Contribute to business development and marketing activity

You will also have a positive, collaborative attitude and a genuine interest in developing your career in commercial litigation.
