Aaron & Partners has welcomed eight new trainee solicitors as the firm continues to invest in developing the next generation of legal talent.
Six of the new trainees will be based at our Chester office, with two joining our Shrewsbury team. They will be working across a range of practice areas including Real Estate, Dispute Resolution, Employment, Restructuring and Insolvency, and Planning, Environmental, Energy and Regulatory law.
The new cohort includes Jessica Jones, Lucy Billington, Mia Reid, Chris Jones, Mia Guerrero and Emma Heath in Chester, alongside Abby Spalding and Emily Turnbull in Shrewsbury.
Five existing trainees are also progressing into the second year of their training contracts with the firm.
James Evans will move from Dispute Resolution into Corporate & Commercial, while Kitty McCann and Rebecca Riley will both join the Employment team. Anna Seddon moves from Restructuring & Insolvency into Family Law, while Scott Gilmour will join the firm’s Wills, Trusts & Tax team.
The latest intake comes as three more colleagues complete their training contracts and qualify as solicitors with Aaron & Partners, taking up permanent positions within the firm.
Beth Jones has qualified into the firm’s Family team, Morgan Fisher joins the Corporate & Commercial, and Megan Riffel has joined our Real Estate team.

The latest cohort also marks a change in the firm’s trainee programme, with Real Estate Partner Joe Fletcher-Hunt taking over as Training Principal from Partner and Head of Shrewsbury Office Hugh Strickland, who has held the role for the past seven years.
The programme has become an important part of Aaron & Partners’ approach to developing talent, with 26 current members of the firm either undertaking their training contract or having qualified as solicitors through the programme.
