About the role

We are looking for a newly qualified Solicitor to join the Employment team. This role will be predominantly supporting the team as well as managing your own case load.

You will have up to 3 years PQE and experience of dealing with both contentious and non contentious employment law, representing both respondent and claimant. You will have a commercial approach, be good at working to deadlines and be able to demonstrate excellent file management and client care.

You will be a confident person with excellent communication skills who is at ease when dealing with clients; ensuring that each client receives an excellent level of service.

You will have the ability to manage your workload; managing a number of cases at any one time. You will also have an excellent eye for detail and the desire to get things right first time. 

You will have a willingness and aptitude to get involved in the team/firm’s marketing and business development activities e.g. attending social and networking events.

Head of Department, Helen Watson is an experienced advocate and accredited mediator with extensive experience in all aspects of both contentious and non contentious employment law.
