What you will be doing
As a secretary within the team, you will support a broad range of wills, trusts and estate planning matters, including:
- Provide a high standard of secretarial support to Partners, Solicitors and Consultants.
- Prepare, format, amend and produce legal documents, correspondence and reports accurately and efficiently.
- Undertake audio and copy typing as required.
- Proofread and quality-check documents to ensure accuracy and consistency.
- Assist with the preparation of client files and legal paperwork relating to wills, trusts, probate and tax matters.
- Manage fee earner diaries, scheduling appointments, meetings and client consultations.
- Handle incoming telephone calls professionally and efficiently.
- Maintain electronic and paper filing systems in accordance with firm procedures.
- Open, close and archive client files as required.

About you
We are looking for someone who is organised, detail-focused and enthusiastic about developing a career in private client law.
You will:
- Previous experience in a Legal Secretary or administrative support role.
- Excellent organisational and diary management skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Outlook and Excel.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure.
- Professional and client-focused approach.
