Our Employment team advises a diverse range of businesses and individuals on complex and commercially significant employment matters, delivering the high standard of service clients expect from Aaron & Partners.
We are looking for an Employment Law Paralegal to join our Shrewsbury office.

This is an opportunity to become part of a highly regarded team, supporting fee earners and Partners on a broad range of contentious and non-contentious employment law matters within a professional and highly collaborative environment.

You will work closely with experienced colleagues, gaining valuable exposure to high-quality work while developing your technical knowledge and practical experience across all aspects of employment law.
This role will suit someone who is organised, proactive and keen to build a long-term career in employment law, taking pride in delivering excellent client service and supporting the successful progression of matters.

What you will be doing

As an Employment Law Paralegal, you will support the team across a broad range of matters, including:

  • Drafting letters of advice and supporting documentation
  • Assisting fee earners in managing employment law matters from inception through to completion
  • Preparing bundles and supporting documentation for Employment Tribunal hearings
  • Gathering client information and preparing initial file summaries
  • Conducting legal research when required
  • Acting as a point of contact for clients, providing updates and responding to routine enquiries
  • Managing diaries, appointments and workflow deadlines
  • Ensuring compliance with Anti-Money Laundering (AML), GDPR and regulatory requirements
  • Opening new files and completing client onboarding procedures
  • Recording time accurately and assisting with billing matters where required

About you

We are looking for someone who is organised, detail-focused and enthusiastic about developing a career in employment law.

You will:

  • Have previous experience within a legal environment, ideally in employment law
  • Have experience drafting legal correspondence and documentation
  • Demonstrate excellent organisational and file management skills
  • Have strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Be confident using Microsoft Office applications
  • Have excellent communication skills and a strong commitment to client service
