What you will be doing
As a Paralegal within the team, you will support a broad range of wills, trusts and estate planning matters, including:
- Drafting straightforward Wills, Codicils and related documents
- Preparing Lasting Powers of Attorney (Property & Financial Affairs and Health & Welfare)
- Drafting letters of advice and supporting documentation
- Assisting fee earners with inheritance tax and succession planning matters
- Gathering client information and preparing initial file summaries
- Conducting legal research where required
- Preparing correspondence, legal documents and court forms
- Managing diaries, appointments and workflow deadlines
- Ensuring compliance with Anti-Money Laundering (AML), GDPR and regulatory requirements
- Opening new files and completing client onboarding procedures
- Recording time accurately and assisting with billing matters where required

About you
We are looking for someone who is organised, detail-focused and enthusiastic about developing a career in private client law.
You will:
- Have previous experience within a legal environment, ideally within private client law
- Have an understanding of wills, probate, trusts and estate administration
- Have experience drafting legal correspondence and documentation
- Demonstrate excellent organisational and file management skills
- Have strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Be confident using Microsoft Office applications
- Have excellent communication skills and a strong commitment to client service
