As part of our ongoing commitment to creating a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment for all attendees, staff, and participants, we would like to take this opportunity to remind you of your responsibilities under the Equality Act 2010, including the duty to prevent sexual harassment.

Your responsibilities

Under the Equality Act and related workplace policies, any form of sexual harassment is strictly prohibited. This includes but is not limited to:

  • Unwanted verbal, non-verbal or physical conduct of a sexual nature;
  • Comments, jokes, gestures or images that may create a hostile, degrading, or offensive environment;
  • Abuse of power or influence in a way that may be perceived as coercive or inappropriate.

Our expectations of third parties

We ask all third-party guests to:

  • Behave professionally and respectfully at all times.
  • Avoid any language or conduct that could reasonably be considered inappropriate, suggestive, or discriminatory.
  • Report any concerns or incidents immediately to the event organiser or safeguarding lead.

We also reserve the right to withdraw participation, end a session, or take further action if any breach of this policy is suspected or reported.

A shared commitment

Preventing harassment is a shared responsibility. We appreciate your support in ensuring our event is a safe, inclusive, and respectful space for everyone.
