About the Role
This role will be a shared resourced based within the Employment & Dispute Resolution Team.
As a Legal Secretary you will need to:
- Provide partners, solicitors and consultants with a high standard of secretarial service in the production and processing of legal documents and correspondence
- Carry out general team administration including photocopying, filing and scanning
- Handle telephone enquiries and direct accordingly
- Manage fee earner diaries
- You will be required to assist with Reception Cover
You will need to have experience of working in a legal environment, preferably in a Employment or Dispute Resolution department, however experience is these specialisms is not essential. You will also have good working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
You will be a confident person with excellent communication skills and the ability to work well as a member of a team.
You will have the ability to manage and prioritise your work; with high levels of accuracy and attention to detail.

Head of Department- Employment, Helen Watson is an experienced advocate and accredited mediator with extensive experience in all aspects of both contentious and non contentious employment law.
Head of department – Dispute Resolution Nick Clarke, is an expert in the field and deals with a variety of commercial disputes including shareholder disputes, partnership disputes and disputes in the logistics sector. In relation to insolvency, Nick acts for insolvency practitioners, directors of insolvent companies and individuals and companies with financial difficulties.
