Biography
Simon qualified as a solicitor following service in the Cheshire Regiment in Hong Kong, Cyprus, Canada, Germany, Northern Ireland and Bosnia.
He undertakes all aspects of non-contentious charity work, in particular charity property, including acquisitions and disposals as well as options and site assembly for development. He advises on the formation of charities and incorporation of existing and new charities.
He also has extensive experience of ecclesiastical matters, acting in the past for diocesan boards of finance, incumbents and sequestrators in relation to benefice land. He also acts for parochial church councils, especially in property matters, including voluntary registrations of glebe and parsonage land and diocesan corporate property.
In the commercial property sector, Simon undertakes a wide range of work, including large scale voluntary registrations and asset disposals.
