A Round-Up of Aaron & Partners’ first year in Shropshire
21st July, 2014
Following Aaron & Partners’ acquisition of Shrewsbury-based legal firm Bennett’s Legal in May 2013, the firm has moved to new, larger premises to house their 12 staff based in Shrewsbury.
Recent recruits to the Shrewsbury office include Corporate Partner Stuart Haynes, Corporate Finance Partner Hugh Strickland, Family Law Associate Sandy Edwards, Corporate & Commercial Legal Executive Amanda Wickstead and Employment Paralegal Zoe Sherwin.
They join Commercial Property Partner Trish Randles and Employment Solicitor Fiona Goodman, both of whom were recruited at the beginning of the year.
Richard Forrester, Consultant in the Real Estate Team, is moving to head the Shrewsbury office and will be permanently based there from this summer. He returns to the area after working in the Chester office for 17 years.
Andy Duxbury, Chief Executive of Aaron & Partners, said: “Our first 12 months in Shrewsbury exceeded our expectations, which has resulted in a head count rising from 3 to 12 staff. The new office will further allow for expansion and will help establish Aaron & Partners as one of the leading law firms in the area.
“We have seen a significant increase in our Shropshire client base since opening our Shrewsbury office. Shropshire is a key market for us, particularly within the corporate and real estate sectors, and our new premises will allow us to continue to recruit some of the region’s most talented lawyers.
The firm moved to the new office on 1 April. The spacious, modern office is three times the size of Aaron & Partners’ previous Shrewsbury premises, and benefits from on-site parking.
