Aaron & Partners join the Coracle World Championships Race
11th April, 2014
Aaron & Partners are entering a team in the Coracle World Championships taking place on Saturday 14 June at Pengwern Boat Club in Shrewsbury.
The team, made up of four members of staff, will join 47 other teams to compete to cross the river Severn and back FOUR TIMES in the shortest time, paddling as fast as they can in a coracle.
The practice runs start at 12pm and the race starts at 2pm, so the team are hoping for lots of supporters to come down and cheer them on, especially as it’s a fantastic spectator sport and fun for all the family.
In 2012 the Coracle World Championships raised over £20,000 for Macmillan Cancer Support. This year they are hoping to raise even more money for this worthwhile charity.
