Biography
Robert is an experienced commercial and property Dispute Resolution Partner at Aaron & Partners, known for his attention to detail and outstanding levels of client service. Driven by his own experience as a business owner, Robert is focused on finding solutions that deliver commercial value.
Background and Expertise
Robert studied law at Sheffield Hallam University before completing the Bar training exams at Manchester University, fully qualifying in 2004. He went on to work at a regional north-west firm for 14 years, being promoted to Partner. Robert has also run his own business and is a non-executive director of a family property investment company.
Robert joined Aaron & Partners in September 2025 as a Partner in the Dispute Resolutions team.
Specialisms and Personal Achievements
With expertise extending to commercial and property disputes, Robert has experience working with both landlords and tenants, with matters involving commercial leases,1954 Act renewals, forfeiture, claims for arrears of rent, dilapidations and break notices, and other land-based disputes involving easements, trespass, restrictive covenants and nuisance.
Robert takes a commercial approach to all matters and prides himself on a high level of client service and attention to detail. He has a track record of successfully resolving disputes at mediation, and where necessary, bringing court proceedings and / or taking cases to trial to achieve the desired result.
