We believe a high-performing career shouldn’t come at the expense of your life outside work. At Aaron & Partners, you’ll find a culture built on trust, support and clear expectations. Billing targets are realistic, development is structured, and your personal life is respected.

We combine in-person collaboration with flexible working, ensuring you have the space to grow and the tools and time you need to do your best work. You’ll find plenty of opportunities to connect with your colleagues and the wider business community too. From firm-wide socials and sponsored events to charity fundraising and creative partnerships, we invest in what brings people together.

Career Growth

Realistic Targets, Rewarding Work

We set achievable billing targets, with our standard fee earner billing target being 1,000 hours billed and paid. Our bonus scheme begins to pay out at 80% of that target, with higher rewards for exceeding 100%. Unlike many firms, we don’t expect late nights and weekends as the norm. We believe in working smart, so you can enjoy both your career and your personal time.

Career Growth That’s Built Around You

Your development matters. We offer real career progression, not just a place to clock in and out. At other firms, you may risk being seen as just another resource, here, we invest in you. Our Personal Development Plan includes ongoing mentorship, continuous feedback, and two formal career reviews each year to ensure you're on the right path.

Our Culture 2

Flexibility & Collaboration

We believe that spending time in the office is key for learning, collaboration, and mentoring, particularly for junior fee earners. But we also support remote work, ensuring you have the flexibility to do your best work in a way that suits you.

Bringing People Together

Work shouldn’t just be about work. Our Social Committee organises everything from our summer and Christmas parties to monthly Friday drinks, paid for by the firm. Once a year, we shut down the office for an afternoon to hold our Annual General Meeting, a mix of firm-wide updates and time to relax with colleagues. We’ve even held our own rowing regatta on the River Dee in Chester, complete with an eight-week training course and a battle for the coveted Aarons Teapot Trophy.

Giving Back

We’re passionate about the arts, partnering with Storyhouse, Theatr Clwyd, and Shropshire Festivals to support creativity in the communities we work and live in. We also take our environmental and social responsibilities seriously, with our team frequently taking part in fundraising initiatives for our nominated charities.
