We are looking for a Planning Solicitor to join our Planning, Environmental, Energy and Regulatory team. This role will be predominantly supporting the team, but also managing your own case load. Experience in Environmental, Energy and/or Regulatory matters would be beneficial but not essential.
We will consider candidates from newly qualified up to 5 years PQE and experience of dealing with both contentious and non-contentious planning matters including applications, appeals, section 106 agreements, High Court challenges and Judicial Reviews, breaches and lawfulness including applications for Certificates of Lawfulness, enforcement and prosecutions, section 38/s278 highways agreements, public rights of way and village greens, objections, CPO, BNG and CIL.
You will be a confident person with excellent communication skills and be at ease dealing with a diverse range of clients.
You will have a commercial approach, be good at working to deadlines and be able to demonstrate excellent file management and client care. You will have the ability to manage several cases at once, ensuring that each client receives excellent service.
You will have a willingness to get involved in the team and firm’s marketing and business development activities, such as social and networking events.
