What you will be doing
You will be involved in a broad mix of contentious and non-contentious employment work, including:
- Advising employers and senior individuals on complex employment matters
- Supporting on high-value and strategically important cases
- Managing your own caseload with appropriate supervision
- Working closely with partners on client strategy and delivery
- Contributing to business development and building your professional profile

About you
We are looking for a solicitor who is technically capable, commercially aware, and motivated to develop.
You will:
- Be newly qualified up to 3 years’ PQE
- Have experience in both contentious and non-contentious employment law
- Be confident managing your own matters and working to deadlines
- Demonstrate strong client care and communication skills
- Take a proactive and commercially minded approach to your work
- Have a strong attention to detail
You will also have an interest in developing your profile, contributing to marketing and business development activity where appropriate.

You’ll be part of a close-knit, high-performing team that works collaboratively and takes pride in its work, led by Head of Employment Helen Watson, an experienced advocate and accredited mediator with extensive expertise across both contentious and non-contentious employment law.
