The opportunity

As a newly qualified Employment Law Solicitor with up to 3 years PQE, you will work directly alongside our employment partners from day one, advising on complex and high-value employment matters for a sophisticated client base more typically associated with national firms. 

This is a role for someone who wants early responsibility, meaningful client exposure, and high-quality work, without the unsustainable pressures often found elsewhere.

You will play a key role in supporting the team while also developing and managing your own caseload, with the guidance and access to senior members of the team needed to accelerate your progression.

You will be involved in a broad mix of contentious and non-contentious employment work, including: 

  • Advising employers and senior individuals on complex employment matters
  • Supporting on high-value and strategically important cases
  • Managing your own caseload with appropriate supervision
  • Working closely with partners on client strategy and delivery
  • Contributing to business development and building your professional profile

About you

We are looking for a solicitor who is technically capable, commercially aware, and motivated to develop.

You will:

  • Be newly qualified up to 3 years’ PQE
  • Have experience in both contentious and non-contentious employment law
  • Be confident managing your own matters and working to deadlines
  • Demonstrate strong client care and communication skills
  • Take a proactive and commercially minded approach to your work
  • Have a strong attention to detail

You will also have an interest in developing your profile, contributing to marketing and business development activity where appropriate.
