Agriculture and Estates specialist Ben Brassington has strengthened the services offered by Top 200 legal firm Aaron & Partners LLP

A dairy farmer with more than 18 years’ experience as a Partner in his family’s farming business has been appointed by a top legal firm in Shrewsbury.

Ben Brassington, who has also been working for several years as an agricultural solicitor with legal firms in the Midlands, has now joined Aaron & Partners LLP as an Agriculture and Estates Solicitor.

Ben grew up on his family’s dairy farm and now combines his involvement in the family business with his career as a solicitor, helping farmers, landowners and rural businesses with a wide range of legal advice and support.

“The practical experience of working day-to-day in my family’s farming business has provided me with hands-on knowledge of the challenges and opportunities in the UK’s agricultural sector” said Ben.

“It means I can provide my clients with pragmatic guidance regarding their specific family or business circumstances and offer genuinely bespoke advice to help them.”

“The agriculture and rural business sector is a diverse and interesting industry and my core objective as an Agriculture and Estates solicitor is to make a long-term, positive difference to all the farming families and rural businesses I work with.”

“I think it is vitally important that individuals and businesses have access to quality expertise when they need it most and that’s why I’m delighted to have joined a fantastic firm that really prides itself on offering clients support and advice of the highest quality.”

Ben’s role will see him dealing with a variety of agricultural matters, including the sale and purchase of agricultural land and farms, succession planning, ownership structures and long term tax planning to ensure the safe passage of assets from one generation to the next.

He is actively involved in rural affairs and is a member of the National Farmers’ Union; Holstein UK; Country, Land and Business Association and the Agricultural Law Association.

Stuart Haynes, Partner in the Corporate and Commercial team and Head of Aaron & Partners’ Shrewsbury office, said: “We’re thrilled to welcome Ben to the team and we’re confident he’ll be an incredibly valuable asset to the firm.”

“He brings a truly unique skillset and a range of experience that will further support us in providing our clients with the expertise they need to solve complex problems.”
