Jodie joined Aaron & Partners in April 2025, bringing with her a wealth of immigration law experience gained in the UK. She originally qualified as a lawyer in Venezuela in 2013 after graduating from the Central University of Venezuela.
Before relocating to the UK, Jodie worked at the Prosecutor’s Office in Venezuela, specialising in drug-related crimes, and also gained paralegal experience at a Civil First-Tier Tribunal. She also spent time at Sony Pictures Entertainment LATAM, where she worked on regional broadcasting law compliance.
After moving to the UK, she held roles at specialist firms including Latitude Law, and most recently at Centrefield LLP, where she advised on the immigration aspects of sports law.
Specialisations & Personal Achievements
Jodie has experience across the full spectrum of immigration law. Her expertise covers personal immigration (such as family-based applications, visit visas, student visas, youth mobility scheme, asylum claims, naturalisation, European applications under the EU Settlement Scheme and indefinite leave to remain) as well as business immigration (including Sponsor Licences, Skilled Worker visas, Global Business Mobility and High Potential Individual visas.).
She has also worked on complex and sensitive applications such as regaining British citizenship for individuals who previously renounced it, and helping clients navigate issues such as historical overstays or criminal convictions that may impact their status.
Beyond her primary focus on UK Immigration, Jodie also provides excellent support for Schengen visa applications and US tourism visa applications for those looking to make short visits abroad.
Jodie is known for her approachable and detail-oriented client care. She believes in open communication, often speaking directly with clients to fully understand their unique situations and objectives. Her keen eye for detail allows her to identify potential risks or issues that others might miss, ensuring applications are robust from the start.
