Biography

Olivia is a Solicitor in our Real Estate team, currently working out of our Chester office.

Background & Expertise

Having graduated from the University of Chester with a first-class honours degree in Law LLB, Olivia then went on to complete the Legal Practice Course (with a master’s in Professional Legal Practice) at the University of Law in Liverpool; achieving a Distinction.

Olivia joined Aaron & Partners in October 2020, starting her career as a paralegal in our Planning, Environmental, Energy and Regulatory  (PEER) team and working alongside her studies. She has since completed her training contract with us and qualified as a solicitor in our Real Estate team in September 2024.

Specialisations & Personal Achievements

Olivia has a particular interest in agricultural real estate and renewable energy developments – there is a natural overlap with planning and environmental law here, so her work often involves bridging the gap between our PEER and Real Estate teams.

Building on her experience as a paralegal and trainee, Olivia now looks at the planning and development process from a new angle, focusing on the implementation of projects with planning permission by using real estate and property law.

She has advised on purchases and sales of agricultural land, farm business tenancies and land agreements for renewable energy projects, as well as more general commercial leases and purchases. Moving forward, she is keen to expand her expertise in the energy sector, working closely with developers and landowners on large-scale wind and solar farm projects.

Working on long-term projects like these is one of Olivia’s favourite parts of her role, she is able to see the tangible impact and benefit of her work in real time, as she guides her clients through the process and helps them to achieve their aims.

With her keen eye for detail and practical approach, Olivia provides an outstanding legal service for those she represents. Olivia was named as a Recommended Lawyer by the Legal 500 in 2024 and 2025. She is described as having an “encyclopaedic knowledgeof the matters she works on and always on top of the case, efficient and effective.

Alongside her work, Olivia is an active member of the Agricultural Law Association and the Women in Property Association. She also volunteers as a coach at Spartac Gymnastics Club, an inclusive, charity-run organisation offering training for gymnasts of all abilities.
