Background and Expertise
Tom is an Associate Solicitor in the Restructuring & Insolvency team and is based primarily in the Altrincham office. He joined Aaron & Partners in January 2026.
Tom qualified as a solicitor in October 2018 at a Lancashire-based firm. Following qualification, he spent seven years working at top-tier international law firms, gaining a strong foundation in complex and high-value insolvency matters, including financial services special administration.
Specialisms and Personal Achievements
Tom advises on all aspects of corporate and personal insolvency, acting on both contentious and non-contentious matters. He has particular experience in financial services –regulated insolvency.
He more generally regularly advises insolvency practitioners, lenders, directors, shareholders and other key stakeholders on all issues arising from financial distress, insolvency processes, business sales, restructurings and asset recovery. Tom has worked across a wide range of sectors, including energy, retail and financial services.
Known for providing sound, practical advice, Tom understands that clients are often focused on achieving the best possible outcome rather than becoming immersed in technical detail, and he tailors his advice accordingly.
