Background and Expertise 

Emma graduated with honors from Manchester Law School in 2016, achieving her LLB degree and marking the beginning of her legal journey. Shortly after completing her studies, Emma began her career at a prominent Manchester-based law firm. During this time, Emma gained valuable experience in Probate and Estate Administration.  

In October 2019, Emma joined Aaron & Partners as a Paralegal in the Wills, Trusts & Tax team. Emma went on to complete her training contract with the firm, qualifying as a Solicitor in February 2023. Emma’s focus on non-contentious matters has enabled her to excel in handling intricate cases involving Wills, tax planning, asset protection, and the administration of estates and trusts. She has a particular interest in finding tax-efficient strategies whilst dealing with estate and trust administration. Emma also has experience advising clients in Lasting Powers of Attorney and Court of Protection matters.

  • Advising clients in relation to strategic lifetime gifting for Inheritance Tax efficiency.  
  • Advising the executors of an estate comprising business and agricultural assets.  
  • Advising on and preparing a Will for a client to carry out their wishes whilst addressing asset protection to provide for the beneficiaries’ differing personal circumstances.
