HELP CELEBRATE THE BEST OF BRITISH MANUFACTURING
17th June, 2014
British manufacturing is at the heart of the UK economy, helping to create jobs and growth.
The Cheshire & Warrington Enterprise Partnership are hosting a Manufacturing summit as part of the International Festival of Business 2014 on 19 June. They want everyone to celebrate the best of British manufacturing. Can you help them to tell the world about why Britain is great at making things.
To join in, tweet or blog about the iconic British products and goods that you love, using the hashtag #BuildingBritain. (You might also want to follow @bisnorthwest, @bisgovuk, @number10gov and @DPMoffice. )
If you know of any great manufacturing companies in your region, take a picture of them with their product, with a “We are #BuildingBritain” sign and tweet it from your company or personal account. The best pictures will be added to the wearebuildingbritain tumblr feed.
The Cheshire & Warrington Enterprise Partnership will be running the campaign from Monday 16 June until Friday 20 June but feel free to join in the conversation online at any time – as they will be continuing to showcase the best of British manufacturing long after the Summit ends!
