Lunch Club serves free employment law advice
8th June, 2016
A series of expert employment law lunches are focusing on what truly impacts businesses in Shropshire.
The theme of Shrewsbury-based Aaron & Partners’ forthcoming event on Thursday, June 9 will be Performance Management and Employment Law.
It is the latest in a regular series of HR Lunch Club gatherings, hosted at the Lion and Pheasant in Shrewsbury, which provide an opportunity to get expert advice from legal professionals while creating an informal business networking environment.
Following the event, attendees – the event is free for business owners and in-house HR professionals – are asked to choose the theme of the next lunch to make sure it answers the real questions that concern business leaders, Human Resource managers and entrepreneurs.
Ben Mason, an Associate with the Employment team at Aaron & Partners, will host this month’s event and said the idea was to give businesses access to the answers they really want on employment law.
“Shropshire is home to a wide range of business sectors, from rural to digital, construction, engineering and more,” he said.
“Employment law is constantly shifting and regardless of the type of business you run, keeping up with legislation can be a challenge.
“What makes this series of lunches different is that the businesspeople in the room set the agenda, not just on the day, but for the next lunch.
“That way we are not simply bringing in people to talk, we can ensure we give real answers and insight that people can take away and apply in their businesses.”
